Susan Leshnoff often uses nature as a subject, inspired by sky, earth, flowers , fauna and their spiritual connections. Leshnoff’s  paintings are included in national and international collections and in recent years, her work has been included in many shows in the tri-state area, including the Monmouth Museum, Kean University, and The College of St. Elizabeth, in New Jersey; Legend Gallery, the Philadelphia Foundation and the Da Vinci Art Alliance in Philadelphia; and Pleiades Gallery of Contemporary Art in New York City. Recent one person shows include “Genesis Revealed” at the Legend Gallery, Philadelphia, 2015, and “SkyVisions” at the Lederer Gallery at the State University of New York (SUNY) , Geneseo 2014.

Susan was awarded Distinguished Professor Emerita in Fine Arts in 2016 by the College of Communication and the Arts , Seton Hall University, South Orange NJ, where she taught for 17 years as Associate Professor of Fine Arts and Former Chair of the Department of Art, Music and Design. Prior to Seton Hall, she taught art at Montclair State University, Rutgers University (New Brunswick), Essex County College and Middlesex County College, all in New Jersey. Her art studio is in Philadelphia, where she now resides.
